A middle-aged man has been charged after a 43-year-old was stabbed on Christmas Eve.

The victim was knifed in Burnt Ash Lane on December 24 before police were called at around 5.10pm.

Police arrested Martin Deane, 53, on Boxing Day in relation to the man being stabbed.

Deane, of Pike Close in Bromley, was charged the following day with GBH with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

Bromley police say he has been remanded in custody awaiting trial.

The victim's injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
