Plans have emerged to bulldoze garages in Erith to make way for a new block of flats.
Developers have eyed up land behind Fliston Road to potentially build a three-storey apartment block.
Urban and Rural Limited has put forward the scheme, which is currently being assessed by experts at Bexley Council.
The site is on the edge of a large open park, and is currently boarded up and disused, according to the developers.
A previous scheme for seven more flats was thrown out earlier this year, with the council dubbing it “overdevelopment”.
Revised plans submitted this week would have four flats and cycle storage, a reduction that Urban and Rural says should be acceptable.
In their planning application, the developer said: “Erith is currently undergoing architectural development, with a variety of residential schemes underway.
“This proposal seeks to compliment and adhere to the new architectural language developing within the area.”
Three objections were submitted for the bigger scheme earlier this year, with planners at the council saying the scheme would have a “significant visual impact and loss of amenity for occupiers of adjacent sites”.
Council officers are currently looking at the revised plan and a decision will be made in the new year.
