Two men have died following a crash in Swanley yesterday morning.

Police were called shortly after 11am to the Londonbound carriageway of the A20 following a seven vehicle crash.

The two men, aged 25 and 54, were trying to help the driver of an overturned silver Vauxhall Astra, when a silver Mercedes crashed into them.

Kent Police have now confirmed that the men have died as a result of their injuries.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "A total of seven vehicles were involved in the incident and a further six people were injured.

"The road was closed for 12 hours to allow officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit to investigate.

Police are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or has any dashcam footage, to come forward.
