The community is invited to enjoy a masquerade-themed bash when a care home celebrates its first birthday.
Buchanan Court, on Sudbury Hill, will open its doors for the special milestone from 2pm – 4pm on November 28.
The Care UK care home will offer entertainment from Andrea Queens, a saxophone performance plus a delicious range of cocktails and canapés.
Residents have been making their own fascinators and other accessories in anticipation which will be judged by home manager, Ruth Halls.
Ms Halls said: “Residents and team members alike are really excited to welcome the local community into the home to celebrate our first birthday.
“It has been a memorable year for Buchanan Court. We’ve invited schools to join residents for carol singing, participated in World Poetry Day, celebrated the royal wedding and even took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
“We are very proud of the strong relationships we’ve developed with the people of Harrow, and this event is a great opportunity to invite everyone to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day full of family fun.”
