Police have charged a woman with causing actual bodily harm after an attack at a housing estate in Anerley.

The victim, a 44-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury after being assaulted at a flat in Castledine Road.

Three women were initially arrested for the assault on Saturday (November 17) but two have been released without further action.

However, one woman has been charged with ABH, but police did not disclose any more details on her.

One resident told News Shopper on the day: "I just heard from a neighbour that she saw someone come out with a bandaged head and the neighbour below was arrested.

"It's quite scary living on doorstep with all these stabbings recently."

Ayodeji Habeeb Azeez, 22, was murdered in broad daylight in nearby Samos Road on November 4 after being attacked by a group.

Bromley officers are continuing to investigate the assault in Castledine Road.
