Bromley's best-performing secondary schools based on Attainment 8 scores have been revealed by the Government.

The Department for Education (DfE) has now published the latest list of results for pupils in Key Stage 4 from 2018.

Schools obtain a score which is based upon how well pupils have performed in up to eight qualifications.

These include English, mathematics, three English Baccalaureate qualifications - such as science, computer science, history, geography, and languages - and three other additionally approved qualifications.

This, overall, judges how pupils have performed across the eight subjects on average.

It is used by the DfE as one of several factors to assess schools in the country.

Bromley schools have achieved above the Attainment 8 national average, for both state-funded schools in England (46.3) and all schools in the country (44.6), with 49.8.

Government-labelled 'special' schools have been omitted from this ranking.
