An air ambulance was called to central Croydon this afternoon, as a person was rushed to hospital.
According to reports on twitter, the helicopter landed in a school on Sydenham road.
Services were called at 3.59pm, with the person treated at the scene before being transported to hospital by road.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3:59pm today (22 October) to Sydenham Road, Croydon to reports of an incident.
“We sent an incident response officer, an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and a single responder in a car. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
"We treated a person at the scene and took them as a priority to hospital by road."
