A petition has been launched against a "death-trap" road in Eltham after a series of serious accidents.
The junctions at Fiveways and Sidcup Road have been the cause of many fatal and serious incidents over the last 10 years, and now residents want action to be taken.
On October 9 a motorcyclist was left with serious injuries when he was involved in a crash with a car.
Locals say there have been pile-ups and fatal crashes caused by the dangerous layout of the road.
People in the area are now fearing for the lives of their children and have started a petition to change the lane formations.
You can sign the petition here.
At the moment the traffic going towards London forms three lanes if turning right, blocking traffic flow trying to go straight on.
The petition says that if you are turning right on the junction you have no way of knowing if the lights have turned red or not.
The petition now suggests that more traffic lights need to be put in place and more speed cameras and CCTV to catch the number of people jumping the lights.
Have you ever had an accident at these lights? Let us know what you think of these suggestions in the comments below or on Facebook.
