Ibrahim Dadd, 21, and Aaron Redman, 21 have been put behind bars today (October 12) for drug-related offences.

The two men, both from Wembley, were sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on October 11, after they were caught in Leatherhead.

Officers on proactive patrol stopped and searched a car in Kingston Road in April and found money and multiple phones in the car.

Mr Dadd pleaded guilty to supplying cannabis, possession of heroin, and possession of MDMA found at his home address.

Mr Redman pleaded guilty to possession of the drugs, but not guilty at trial to the supply of those drugs.

Mr Dadd’s home was searched and drug paraphernalia was found including scales, bags, cannabis, heroin and MDMA.

He received two years and nine months for all offences, while Mr Redman received three years and three months.

Detective Constable Emma Nicholson said: “I hope the sentences handed out in court demonstrate to others that possession of Class A drugs is a serious offence which we won’t tolerate in Surrey.”

Surrey Police’s Op Viking has been in action since before Christmas 2016 to disrupt drug dealing gangs who are coming into Surrey to commit crime and prey on vulnerable people.

A big part of the operation involves officers proactively looking for potential dealers in action.
