A Catford mum has bravely spoken out after being attacked in broad daylight in front of her young children.
Stacey Daniels, 27, cannot remember what happened after walking her kids to nursery along George Lane on Wednesday (October 10) at around 12.30pm.
Her horrified three-year-old daughter told her mum that she was beaten by a "man on a bike".
“I can’t remember a thing,” a shaken Stacey told News Shopper. “My daughter said I was on the floor being attacked.
“I don’t know what happened. It is scary not knowing.”
Her daughter was physically unharmed, and her other child remained in her buggy during the onslaught.
Stacey next recalls ringing her sister-in-law to ask for help after realising her cheek was bleeding.
By 12.50pm police had arrived and Stacey was taken to hospital for head scans.
She was discharged late that night and has not left her mum’s house since.
“I am not comfortable going home,” she said. “I will not go back there.”
Stacey said she has never been attacked before and claims police have now closed the case because of a lack of CCTV and witnesses.
The Met Police confirmed they were called to the incident and asked anyone with information to contact them on 101.
