The workplace watchdog is "assisting police" after a man was killed in a forklift accident at an industrial park in Crayford.
Emergency services, including police, firefighters and an air ambulance, were called to Optima Park in Thames Road on Tuesday at 1pm.
A man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after being involved in an incident with a forklift.
The man was later confirmed to have died in hospital.
Met Police has confirmed the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is looking into the incident.
A spokesman for Health and Safety Executive said: “HSE is aware of this fatal incident and we are assisting the Police with their enquiries at this time.”
