Drivers of electric cars will be spoilt for choice with nearly 30 new charging points set to be installed in Merton.
Merton Council has approved the installation of the 29 new charging points across the borough since April this year.
The applications were put forward by SSE on behalf of Bluepoint London which has been appointed by Transport for London.
The new charging points are part of a plan by TfL to install 6,000 electric car charging points across the city.
Each site will have two or three charging points as well as power feeder pillar.
The points will be managed by Source London, which charges up to 9.5p per minute to use a 22kw charger, as well as a £4 a month for a yearly subscription.
