A fire alert has meant that Colliers Wood tube station has been closed since about 6:00 am.
London fire brigade crews attended the station but as of 7:55 am had left. There was no fire, it was just an alarm that was triggered.
However, the Northern Line and TFL both tweeted that the station was closed at 7:45. This closure is likely to cause rush hour disruptions, however, the rest of the Northern Line is operating as normal.

A TfL spokesperson said: “We apologise to Northern line customers who were unable to use Colliers Wood station this morning. It was closed due to a fire alert which set off sprinklers in a machine room. Our engineers are on site and we will open the station as soon as possible.”
At 10:31 am, the Northern Line Tweeted that the station was open and apologised for the disruption caused.
