A man was left fighting for his life after being stabbed near Harrow-on-the-Hill underground station.
Police were called to College Road at around 8.15pm on February 12 following reports of the incident.
When they arrived, officers were told that the victim had already been driven away.
His condition was initially described as “life-threatening” but, having been treated for stab wounds at a North London hospital, is said to have improved.
No arrests have been made, enquiries continue and police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Harrow has been blighted by knife crime this year, with this incident the fifth high-profile stabbing in the borough.
