Police are making a second desperate appeal for witnesses after a teenager was stabbed to death last weekend.

No one has yet been arrested in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Joao Ricardo Gomes in Hertford Road, Enfield on May 13.

Police were called to a fight around 10.30pm but could not save the teenager when they found him stabbed in the chest.

A 19-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were also found stabbed nearby in Palmers Lane, but they were taken to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Detectives say they are keeping an open mind about why Mr Gomes died and are urgently calling on witnesses to come forward.

They went back to Hertford Road on Saturday (May 20) in a bid to find out more about how the stabbing happened.
