The man who was hit and killed in an alleged hit and run in New Addington has been named locally as Selwyn Clarke.
Tributes has been paid to Mr Clarke on social media, who died after the collision at the junction of King Henry's Drive and Calley Down Crescent yesterday evening.
Nieice Michelle Williams posted: "I have just heard some sad news this evening of the passing of my Uncle Selwyn Clarke.
“I am going to miss that precious smile and jokes. My heart is broken another Clarke has been sadly taken from us.”

The van did not stop at the scene, but a 34-year-old man later handed himself in at a south London police station, a police spokesman said.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and for failing to stop at the scene.
Mr Clarke has yet to be formally identified, but his next of kin has been informed.
