A double decker bus burst into flames near Lewisham station yesterday in what police suspect was an arson attack.
The dramatic footage shows bright orange flames ravaging the upper deck of the empty bus on Loampit Vale.
Thick, black plumes of smoke billowed into the sky before fire crews arrived on the scene.
The road was closed off whilst firefighters tackled the blaze at around 6pm.
Police officers said the road had reopened by 8.30pm, and confirmed that the fire is being treated as a suspected arson.

Lewisham MPS wrote on Twitter: "All roads are now open around Loampit Vale, SE13 following the bus fire earlier.
"Although it looked dramatic, it was a simple fire...and is being dealt with as a suspected arson."
