Police are hunting a man after a BMW was stolen at gunpoint and a woman was threatened with a syringe in Plumstead.
A 59-year-old man parked his black BMW in Vernham Road at around 12.40pm on Sunday, October 25, leaving a passenger inside the car.
A man approached, got into the driver’s seat before threatening the passenger with a knife and gun, telling him to get out of the car.
The suspect drove off towards Genesta Road.
Shortly before the robbery, between approximately 12.20pm and 12.40pm, a man had threatened to harm a 45-year-old woman with a syringe at a petrol station in nearby Plumstead Common Road.
Police, who believe the incidents are linked, have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak to.

The suspect is described as a 5ft 4ins tall black man.
He wore a khaki coloured hooded top and loose trousers.
