Police have appealed after a customer assaulted an employee at a restaurant in Blackheath.
At about 6pm on Monday, September 14 a 41-year-old man was assaulted at a restaurant in Tranquil Vale.
The victim of the assault, an employee of the restaurant, was approached by a customer and asked if he could speak to him alone.
When in the restaurant’s corridor, the customer hit the employee several times in the face without provocation.
The customer then left the corridor, paid his bill and left the premises.
The victim suffered a swollen lip and several grazes.
He did not require medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a white man with short brown hair and over 6ft tall. He was wearing a red T-shirt and blue jeans.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise this man.
