A foot-tapping classical flash mob erupted in Gravesend town centre yesterday lunchtime (October 13), in amongst the shoppers.
The cast of Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado, who are performing three shows at the The Woodville theatre this week, brought the town to a standstill as they broke into song at 12.30pm.
Two of the cast began singing the tenor line of British Tar, before other men dressed as businessmen and shoppers joined in with the acapella song.
The ladies then joined the group, singing the Mikado finale song Joyous Shout, whilst dancing with umbrellas.
The entire piece last three minutes - with the cast then dispersing as quickly as they came together.
