Two brothers hunted in connection with an acid attack could be in London or the south east, police believe.

Billy, 22, and Geoffrey, 26, Midmore are sought by Hampshire Police after an acid attack Southampton on Friday night (September 18).

The female victim remains in hospital being treated for burns to her face, neck and arms - after being attacked outside a Turtle Bay restaurant.

The attack happened in Guildhall Square at 9pm.

The brothers are known to have connections in London.

Acting Detective Inspector Will Whale said: "I would appeal to Billy and Geoffrey to give themselves up now.

"We will carry on with our manhunt until we find you, so make it easier on yourselves and come forward."

Younger brother Billy is described as white, 5ft 8ins, with blue eyes and a scar on his left arm.

He speaks with a London accent and is of stocky build.

His older sibling Geoffrey is described as white, 5ft 1ins, with green eyes and a scar on the right side of his face.

He is of stocky build and has a tattoo on his hand.

Det Insp Whale warned people not to approach the brothers, adding: "We consider them to be dangerous individuals and clearly a potential risk to members of the public."
