Dr Ashraf Patel is the head of a specialist breast cancer unit at St Margaret's Hospital in Epping.
Next month, Breast Cancer Awareness Month will be held to raise awareness and funds for specialist nurses, local services and emotional support networks.
Dr Patel has spoken out about his work at the unit and what they will be doing next month.
