London commuters were treated to some 'good times' this Monday morning – but they might not have immediately known who to thank.
Disco legend Nile Rodgers went incognito to busk on the South Bank, performing some of his best known hits for unsuspecting passers-by.
Nile said not many people recognised him until he started playing Chic songs, then “it was on”.
He started to draw a crowd when he sang the famous “aw freak out” lyric from Le Freak.
Nile tweeted he had no voice after performing during the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park on Sunday.
The not very huge sum of £12.30 was raised during Nile's busking session - though we're not sure what that says about his performance.
The busking was to celebrate the relaunch of Sky Arts.
Though I had no voice from screaming during last night's show, I started to draw a crowd when I sang "Aw Freak Out!" pic.twitter.com/k4R6XjMsFe

Today I went busking on the #London Southbank. Didn't draw much of a crowd until I stared playing dance music. Hmm? pic.twitter.com/N89XINfgfD
