Officers investigating an assault on a commuter have released CCTV footage of the prime suspects.
The women pictured are wanted by Waltham Forest police in connection with grievous bodily harm (GBH) after a 45-year-old man was attacked in Hoe Street, Walthamstow, near the junction with Selbourne Road.
He intervened when the two women, described by police as "drunk", smashed a bottle of vodka inside Walthamstow Central during the early hours of February 28.
The women then followed him and attacked him by punching him several times, resulting in bruising and a cut to the face.
CCTV taken from within the tube station shows the women leaving the station.
