Gardening enthusiasts put down their trowels and pulled up chairs to hear advice from experts.
The Friends of Jerusalem Botanical Gardens, based in Edgware, held a Gardeners’ Question Time to help raise money.
Around 40 guests heard from expert gardeners and botanists including Andy Jackson, the head of Wakehurst Place, Kew’s country garden and the group’s new president.
The evening was hosted in a member’s home in North West London and raised £1,000 towards the charity’s cross-cultural internship programme, which offers opportunities to qualified gardeners to work in the Gardens in Jerusalem.
