A SIDCUP man appeared in court today (Oct 31) after stealing a chair from McDonald’s and calling a policewoman a “dirty slag”.

James Lyons, of Chislehurst Road, also asked the officer how many times she had orgasmed that day after police forced entry into his house and found him asleep in his bathroom.

Lyons, aged 43, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court charged with theft, two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and one count of racially or religiously aggravated harassment through words.

Prosecution lawyer Clare Carey said: “On October 13 at 6pm a member of staff at McDonald’s called the police because he said a customer had seen someone take out a leather chair, valued to be around £200, and walking out of the restaurant and down Sidcup High Street.

“Officers followed the defendant to his address.

“Entry was forced and inside they saw a purple chair and found the defendant asleep in the bathroom.

“An officer started to speak to him and he said to her: ‘You are a brown P**i and you do not speak English. You are a f****** P**i c***.  You are a dirty slag. How many orgasms have you had today? I would make you orgasm’.

“The officer found the comments upsetting and degrading.”

Forensic psychologist Liam Dodge, from the Bracton Centre, Dartford, said: “He is known to us and has been engaging with us over the past few months.

“He has - what we’ve given a working title - personality difficulties. He seems to be progressing quite well.”

District Judge Julia Newton told Lyons: “I am going to ask for the probation service to send a mental health report.

“All sentencing options will be open to the court so I urge you to get representation.”

Lyons, who pleaded guilty to all charges, will be sentenced at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on November 21.

He was granted bail with the condition he does not enter McDonald’s in Sidcup High Street.
