Brand new to the market is this tastefully decorated, immaculately presented, South facing, spacious, one bedroom apartment set within a well maintained, 5-storey, 1970's designer apartment block that is Goulden House.

Arguably one of the best flats in the building, this delightful 4th floor, end corner property comprises of a reconfigured hallway that leads on to a large warm and bright open lounge/dining room. The kitchen is fully fitted and modernised with built in dishwasher, hob/oven, full sized fridge/freezer, butcher’s block work surfaces and granite floor. The light-filled and airy double bedroom has a wall of custom fitted wardrobes and overlooks a treelined garden and the updated bathroom includes a marble backsplash, bespoke fitted cabinet, standard/mood lighting with Bluetooth speaker and a remote-controlled infrared heater. With a re-designed layout so that every room benefits from having its own window and natural light and with French design accents throughout and ample custom storage (including a separate laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer) which many new builds cannot compete with, this property indeed has that bespoke design and feel. Capping it off is a long, South facing balcony overlooking communal gardens that is perfect for that morning coffee or for unwinding after work.

The building is served by 3 lifts and all communal areas are well maintained and regularly improved upon. Each flat has its own Entry Call intercom service and the whole estate is covered by a 24-hour CCTV system making it a very safe place to live. There is also access to inner and outer communal gardens and even to a vegetable patch. As well as benefitting from multiple private bicycle shelters, exceptionally for London, resident and visitor parking is also available in two on-site car parks.

Words and photographs don’t do justice to this gorgeous home so if you’re serious about buying a one-bedroom apartment in Battersea, then this flat has to be on your “Must View” list.

What the Current Owner Has to Say:

We were very fortunate to find and live in this beautiful flat for over 12 years and it was the first place in London where we truly felt at home and part of a local community.

The brightness and warmth of the South facing lounge and bedroom, overlooking mature trees and gardens, were always a delight as were the quietness and serenity of the property when we slept or worked from home.

We always had enough space to live and store (our many shoes!) and we even created a very useful separate laundry cupboard so we could do our laundry overnight without being disturbed.

The building has numerous access lifts, is well-maintained and feels very safe and secure. There are entry phones, CCTV and separate entrances and each section door is only accessible by its own residents.

We cherished this flat and refurbished and maintained it to a high standard because it was home. Now it’s time to let someone else love her as much as we do.

Location:

Goulden House is ideally placed near to Battersea Square, which has been attractively landscaped and 'part pedestrianized' and is well known for its open-air cafes and restaurants including Gordon Ramsey’s London House. It is a peaceful location moments away from the wide-open spaces of Battersea Park and the River Thames offering a great outdoor space for walking and recreation as well as the hustle and bustle of the boutique shops, restaurants and bars of both Clapham Junction and Chelsea’s King’s Road.

As for transport, the property is well communicated with Clapham Junction Train Station and bus routes as well as the Thames River Clipper all within walking distance.
