PUBLIC NOTICE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED -SECTION 14 (1) (c) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC NOTICE OF INTENTION EDEN ROAD BECKENHAM
1. THE Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order to allow enough space and safe traffic movements for deliveries and construction traffic to manoeuvre into the new building development at Eden Parade Eden Road Beckenham THEY INTEND to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-
Temporary single yellow lining to be implemented on both sides of the street at Eden Road from outside 11 Eden Road up to the existing double yellow line restriction at the junction with Croydon Road and Eden Road. The single yellow line restriction will be in place Monday-Friday between the hours of 08.00-16.00 only. WAITING VEHICLES
No person shall, until the works are completed, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stop from outside 11 Eden Road up to the existing double yellow line restriction at the junction with Croydon Road and Eden Road on either side of the street between the hours of 08.00-16.00 Monday-Friday. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986, or by the Council in accordance with the powers conferred upon it.
2. THE prohibitions referred to in Paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. THE Order will come into effect on Wednesday 31st October 2018 with no specified finish date.

4. THE Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months and the works will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

5. ACCESS to properties will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of closures as appropriate. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times.

6. NOTHING in the Order shall apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

7. NOTHING in the Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or Traffic Warden.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC CROFTON LANE ORPINGTON
NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for Network Rail to complete essential proofing and structural works on the railway bridge at Crofton Lane THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-Crofton Lane Orpington will be closed to through traffic for up to nine days from Saturday 20th October 2018. The point of the closure will be at the railway bridge in between the junctions of Towncourt Lane and Beaumont Road.

Displaced traffic will be diverted via:-Crofton Lane Crofton Road Station Road Orpington High Street Chislehurst Road
2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. THE Order will come into effect on Saturday 20th October 2018 with no specified finish date.

4. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the works will take up to nine days to complete and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

5. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer or Traffic Warden.

6. THE restriction referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the work.

7. ACCESS to properties will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of the closure as appropriate. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times.

Appeal against Proposed erection of a 6FE Secondary Boys School comprising a part 2 storey, part 3 storey school building of 8,443m2 including a sports hall (also for wider community use) together with hard and soft landscaping, creation of a new vehicular access on Chislehurst Road, 69 parking spaces, drop off/pick up area and associated works. Erection of a temporary 2 storey classroom block on site for 12 months to accommodate 5 classrooms, a laboratory, offices and toilets (amended submission of application DC/16/03315/FULL1).
The Appeal Inquiry is scheduled to last for four days, and will start at 10am. An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State under paragraph 1 (1) of schedule 6 to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will attend to decide the appeals. Please note that the Planning Inspectorate aim to issue the decision within seven weeks of the Inquiry. The Inspector's decision will be published on the planning portal website.
Members of the public and interested parties may attend the Inquiry and at the Inspector's discretion give their views on the developments.
