NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 VALE OF WHITE HORSE DISTRICT COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH LONGWORTH No 13 LAND AT SPRING HILL FARM, SOUTHMOOR - V2
On 17 July 2018 Vale of White Horse District Council confirmed the above Order. The Order was made on Thursday 14 June 2018. The effect of the Order will be to divert the footpath described in Schedule 1 to this notice as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at Vale of White Horse District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton OX14 4SB from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £10.
This Order comes into force on the date that Oxfordshire County Council certifies the Order, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
SCHEDULE PART 1
Description of site of existing footpath path (A-C-F as indicated on the map) Path to be Extinguished The whole width of that part of Public Footpath, Longworth No 13 commencing at Grid Reference SU 39048 97837 (Point A) and arcing in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 75 metres to Grid Reference SU 39097 97786 (Point C) before continuing in a south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 120 metres to Grid Reference SU 39202 97728 (Point F).
Description of site of alternative footpath (A-B-C-D-E-F as indicated on the map) Path to be Created Public Footpath, 3 metres wide commencing at Grid Reference SU 39048 97837 (Point A) and running in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 32 metres to Grid Reference SU 39056 97807 (Point B) before continuing in a south easterly direction for approximately 46 metres to Grid Reference SU 39097 97786 (Point C) then continuing in a south south-easterly direction for approximately 53 metres to Grid Reference SU 39136 97750 (Point D) then turning in a south easterly direction for approximately 58 metres to Grid Reference SU 39188 97723 (Point E) before turning in an east north- easterly direction for approximately 16 metres to join the original footpath at Grid Reference 39202 97728 (Point F).
