THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under Section 6tothe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. In order to deter obstructive parking and improve traffic flow and safety, and to complement aschemedesigned to deter dangerous overtaking manoeuvres, the general effect of the Order would be to introduce 'at any time' waiting restrictions on Totteridge Lane N20 as follows:
1. on the southern side, between No. 5 Totteridge Lane and its junction with Birley Road N20 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm waiting restrictions).
2. on the northern side between opposite No.1 Totteridge Lane and No. 24 Totteridge Lane (by upgrading the existing Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm waiting restrictions).
Acopy of the proposed Order,associated plan of the relevant area and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:
a) Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London, N20 0EJ
b) Reception, Hendon Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BG

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Order should send awritten statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number BC/000743-06/ SCR224 to the Design Team, 11th Floor, Highways, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ,via theBarnet TraffWeb website or via email to traffic. email@example.com within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
