1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make the Enfield (20 m.p.h. Speed Limit) (No. *) Traffic Order 201*, the Enfield (Prescribed Routes) (No.*) Traffic Order 201* and the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. *) Order 201* under sections 6, 84(1), 84(2) and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) introduce a 20 mph speed limit for motor vehicles in the streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;

(b) impose one-way working for motor vehicles in -

(i) Meadowcroft Road N13 (between Green Lanes and Avondale Road N13)- from south-east to north-west;

(ii) Eaton Park Road N13 (between Green Lanes and Avondale Road N13 - from north-west to south-east;

(c) introduce a No Entry restriction, except pedal cycles, outside Woodside Court, Stonard Road N13;

(d) introduce part-time banned left turns, except pedal cycles, that would operate between Monday to Friday 7.30am to 9.30am and 5pm to 7pm on Station Road N21 at its junctions with:

(i) Radcliffe Road N21 and

(ii) RingwoodWay N21;

(e) introduce a compulsory left turn in Avondale Road N13 at its junction with Stonard Road N13;

(f) introduce new "at any time" waiting restrictions in parts of Arundel Gardens N21, Fernleigh Road N21 and Haslemere

Road N21 .which are mainly at the junctions of those streets.
3. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to control the speed of traffic, the Council propose to construct under sections 90A to 90I of the Highways Act 1980 -

(a) road humps specified in Schedule 2 would be round topped with chamfered sides and having a height of 75 millimetres and a length of 3.6 metres which would be constructed at the locations specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice; and

(b) a speed cushion which would be flat-topped with chamfered sides having a height of 65 millimetres at the locations specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice;

(c) a set of three flat-topped speed cushions with chamfered sides having a height of 65 millimetres, length of 1.6 metres and constructed at the locations specified in Schedule 4 to this Notice; and

(d) a set of three flat-topped speed cushions with chamfered sides having a height of 65 millimetres, length of 1.7 metres and constructed at the locations specified in Schedule 5 to this Notice.

4. A copy of each of the proposed Orders, of maps indicating the locations and effects of the proposed Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and any other relevant documents can be inspected at the Reception Desk, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders, or make any other representations in respect of them should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection stating the grounds thereof, to the Head of Traffic and Transportation, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD, quoting the reference TG52/1368, by 14 March 2018 or by e-mail to traffic@enfield.gov.uk. Note: Should you wish to discuss the proposals in more detail with a Council officer, please ring the above-mentioned telephone number to arrange a mutually convenient time.

6. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this Notice may, upon written request, be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.

Arlow Road, Arundel Gardens, Avondale Road, Compton Road, Coombe Corner, Eaton Park Road, Fernleigh Road, Haslemere Road, Hurst Road, Kings Avenue, Lytton Avenue, Meadowcroft Road, Orpington Road, Radcliffe Road, Roseneath Avenue, Stonard Road and Woodberry Avenue.
SCHEDULE 2 (speed hump locations)
Fernleigh Road N21, from a point 6 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 10 and 12 Fernleigh Road N13. Radcliffe Road N21,
(a) From a point 1.5 metres east of the common boundary of Nos. 31 and 33 Radcliffe Road;

(b) From a point 1.6 metres east of the common boundary of Nos. 53 and 55 Radcliffe Road;

Woodberry Avenue N21,
(c) From a point 7 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 12 and 14 Woodberry Avenue;

(d) From a point 1 metre north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 44 and 46 Woodberry Avenue;

(b) from a point 6.9 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 42 and 44 Fernleigh Road south-eastwards for 2 metres; and

(c) from a point 7.8 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 42 and 44 Fernleigh Road south-eastwards for 2 metres.

(Set of three 1.6 metre-wide speed cushion locations)
Compton Road N21, from a point 3.7 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 60 and 62 Compton Road north­westwards for a distance of 2 metres.
Radcliffe Road N21, from a point 1.9 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 3 and 5 Radcliffe Road northwards for a distance of 2 metres.
