BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - BLACKMAN STREET, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The temporary prohibition of Northbound Traffic on Blackman Street from it's junction with Cheapside for approx. 50 meters southwards
(b) Introduce temporary No Waiting at any time parking restriction in Blackman Street from it's junction with Cheapside for approx. 50meters southwards
(c) The substitution of the existing two pay & display parking bays at the northern end of Blackman Street with two Car Club Bays
2. The Order is necessary to allow Development Construction works to take place
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained and the alternative route for traffic will be via Trafalgar Street, Whitecross Street.
4. This Order comes into force on 24th January 2018 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
