Essex County Council
(Upper Third Avenue, Frinton and Walton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Upper Third Avenue, in the Parish of Frinton and Walton in the District of Tendring from its junction with Ashlyns Road to its junction with Witton Wood Road. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12 December 2016 for five days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while patching works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Witton Wood Road, Upper Fourth Avenue, Ashlyns Road, and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 12 December 2016 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
