Highfield Road, Temporary Road Closure and Restrictions to facilitate essential utility works

HIGHFIELD ROAD N21 -TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Highfield Road N21, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (Highfield Road N21) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(i) The effect of the Order would be to restrict vehicular traffic as detailed in column 1 in the schedule to this notice, and as and when directed by signage.

2. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

3. The prohibitions would come into operation as detailed in column 2 in the schedule to this notice and would continue in force for 5 days or until works are completed.

4. Whilst the prohibitions are in force the route for diverted traffic would be as detailed in column 3 in the schedule to this notice.

Highfield Road N21-from a point in line with the western flank wall of Nos.1-9 and its junction with Christine Worsley Close - Road Closure & Waiting & Loading restrictions on both sides of the carriageway.
Highfield Road N21 from a point in line with the western flank wall of Nos.1-9 and a its junction with Cedars Road -revocation of the one-way working westbound.
Coming into operation
20 May 2022, "At Any Time" for 5 days or until works are completed.

Carpenter Gardens, Green Lanes and Highfield Road N21
