ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED -SECTION 16A
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ORDER 2022
YOUTH CONCERT AND RCPO EVENTS AT CRYSTAL PALACE PARK: WEDNESDAY 6th TO THURSDAY 7th JULY 2022
NOTICE OF PROPOSALS


1. THE Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order to enable the holding of the Youth Concert and RCPO Events at Crystal Palace Park between the hours of 4pm and 12 midnight on the specified dates THEY PROPOSE to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions: -

The following roads will be closed to through traffic with the exception of emergency services and where possible vehicles associated with residents on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th July 2022 between 4pm and 12 midnight:

1. Crystal Palace Park Access Road, at junction with Anerley Hill and at junction with Ledrington Road - for its entire length

2. Crystal Palace Station Road - full closure outside the station

2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. THE Order will come into effect from 4pm and 12 midnight on Wednesday 6th July 2022 and Thursday 7th July 2022.

4. NOTHING in this order shall prevent pedestrian access at any time to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which the order relates, or to any other premises which are accessible from such a road.

5. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or Traffic Warden.

6. ACCESS to properties will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of the closure as appropriate. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian access will be available at all times during the festival.
