NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15(3) OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
Proposed development at: B and Q Depot Smugglers Way SW18 1EG
I give notice that Legal and General (L&G) is applying to Wandsworth Borough Council for planning permission to undertake the following development, and that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement:
APPLICATION REFERENCE: 2021/5004
PROPOSAL: Redevelopment of the former B&Q Retail Warehouse site (western part of the site only - Identified as Buildings A and C) for the construction of 7 residential blocks ranging from 13 to 19 storeys to provide a mixed use scheme including 413 residential units (Class C3) and ancillary residential facilities in association with 'Build to Rent', 1,205m2 flexible commercial floorspace (Class E, Sui Generis), with car/cycle parking (9 blue badge spaces), associated combined heat and power (CHP), plant and associated works, landscaping, and offsite highways works including a new pedestrian crossing on Swandon Way. An Environmental Statement has been submitted under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 as amended.
For consultation purposes only - The application will comprise an increase of 78 homes at Buildings A and C only (excluding Building B) from 335 to 413 homes delivered through an increase of two storeys to Buildings A3, A4, C1, C2 and C3 and an increase in 4 storeys to building A1 and A2. Total unit numbers 632 across the entire former B&Q Retail Warehouse site, 11 blocks in total
