ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - COLEMAN AVENUE, PORTLAND AVENUE, GRANGE ROAD, SCHOOL ROAD & RUTLAND GARDENS (THE PORTLAND ROAD IMPROVEMENT SCHEME)
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 3rd November 2021 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-The temporary closure of the following roads will be implemented in phases under a rolling programme and will only be in force as and when signed:

(a) Phase 1: Coleman Avenue at its junction with Portland Road for a distance of approximately 10 metres

(b) Phase 2: Portland Avenue at is junction with Portland Road for a distance of approximately 10 metres

(c) Phase 3: Grange Road at its junction with Portland Road for a distance of approximately 10 metres
10
(d) Phase 4: School Road at its junction with Portland Road for a distance of approximately 10 metres
10
(e) Phase 5: Rutland Gardens at its junction with Portland Road for a distance of approximately 10 metres

2. The Order is necessary to allow for the Portland Road Improvement Scheme take place.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 9th November 2021 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
