ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -NEW ENGLAND STREET - CYCLE LANE
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 12 May 2021 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
a) The temporary closure of the cycle lane on New England Street from approx. its junction with the London Road Car Park Exit, to approx. its junction with Fleet Street. The closure will be in place as and when needed.
2. The Order is necessary for the safety of contractors whilst resurfacing works take place.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 24 May 2021 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed which is estimated to be 26 July 2021
