LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(11 SUNNYSIDE. WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(11 SUNNYSIDE. WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate telecommunication works to be undertaken in Sunnyside, Wimbledon they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Sunnyside, from its junction with Ridgway to its south-easternmost extremity; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Sunnyside specified in paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting or parking restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Sunnyside is a cul-de-sac and vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road will be maintained.

7. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

8. The Order will come into operation on Wednesday 13th May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on Friday 15th May 2020. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTIONS 14(1) and 14(7) WORPLE ROAD WIMBLEDON (BUS LANE SUSPENSION) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate utility works in Worple Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily suspend a bus lane in the said road.

2. During the works, the north-eastbound bus lane in Worple Road, between its junction with Worple Road Mews and its junction with Wimbledon Hill Road would be suspended.

3. The suspension would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. The Order would come into operation on Tuesday 26th May 2020 with the works currently anticipated to be carried out over 3 days. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) CARSHALTON ROAD. CROYDON ROAD AND THE CARSHALTON ROAD ROUNDABOUT (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
London Borough of Merton Public Notices
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer rehabilitation works at the Carshalton Road Roundabout, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Carshalton Road, Croydon Road and at the Carshalton Road Roundabout.

2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter into or proceed in:-

(i) the Carshalton Road Roundabout, the south and west sides, between the north-westbound lane of Croydon Road and the north-westbound lane of Commonside West inclusive; or

(ii) Carshalton Road, from its junction with the Carshalton Road Roundabout and its junction with Cranmer Road; or

(iii) Croydon Road, the north-westbound lane, from its junction with the Carshalton Road Roundabout south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading that vehicle, in the lengths of road described in sub-paragraphs 2(a)(i), (ii) and (iii) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Access to properties adjacent to the lengths of road described in paragraph 2(a) above will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Croydon Road(A236), Mitcham Road(A236), the Lombard Roundabout, Purley Way, Croydon Road(A238), Manor Road North(A237) and London Road(A237) or via Cranmer Road, Madeira Road and Commonside West.

N.B. - Three-way traffic lights will be used to maintain traffic travelling between Commonside West and Croydon Road and egressing from Cedars Avenue.
N.B. 2 - The no right turn from Commonside West into Madeira Road will be suspended for the duration of the works.
8. The Order will come into operation on Thursday 14th May 2020 with works at the Carshalton Road Roundabout anticipated to be completed within 5 days. However, the Order will remain in operation for 12 months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) BUSHEY ROAD AND GRAND DRIVE. RAYNES PARK (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate gas main replacement and ancillary works in Grand Drive, Raynes Park, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road and in Bushey Road.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to :-

(a) proceed northbound in Grand Drive, Raynes Park, between its junction with the northern kerb-line of Bushey Road and the common boundary of Nos. 35 and 37 Grand Drive; or

(b) turn right or left into Grand Drive from Bushey Road; or (c)wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading

any vehicle, in the length of Grand Drive specified in sub­paragraph (a) above.
3. During the works, vehicular traffic travelling northbound in Grand Drive will turn left into Bushey Road upon reaching the junction with Bushey Road.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Vehicular traffic affected by the northbound closure of Grand Drive should proceed by way of Bushey Road, Beverley Way southbound, Shannon Corner Roundabout, Kingston-By-Pass (A3) northbound, Beverley Way, Coombe Lane, Lambton Road, Worple Road, Pepys Road, Raynes Park Bridge and Approach Road or, if proceeding eastbound on Bushey Road, via Bushey Road eastbound, Kingston Road and Approach Road.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into force on Monday 11th May 2020 and it is expected that the works will be completed by Monday 18th May 2020. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) COMMONSIDE EAST. MITCHAM (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works in Commonside East, Mitcham, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:

(a) enter or proceed in Commonside East, Mitcham, the main
arm, between its junction with Commonside West and its
junction with Cedars Avenue; or (b)wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading
any vehicle, in the length of Commonside East specified in
paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or lengths of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed eastbound via Commonside West(A236), Croydon Road(A236), Windmill Road (B272) or westbound via Cedars Avenue, the Carshalton Road roundabout and Commonside West (A236).

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into operation on Wednesday 20th May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works would be carried out nightly from that date for 3 consecutive nights between the hours of 8pm and 5am the following day. However, the Order would remain in force for 12 months should further works be required.
