NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 9th October 2019 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 21st October 2019.

The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. 115) Order 2019.
The Bromley (Prescribed Route) (No. 2) (One Way) Order 2019.
The Bromley (Prescribed Route) (No. 3) Order 2019.
The Bromley (Free Parking Places)(Disabled Persons) Order 2003 (Amendment No. 65) Order 2019.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 9th October 2019 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 21st October 2019.
The effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) reduce the length of the free parking place In Church Avenue, Beckenham (adjacent to No. 1 The Crescent) by 3.5m at its western end to improve access/exit to/from the garages at the rear ofNos. 1 to 15 The Crescent and to replace with Monday to Saturday 8am-S.30pm waiting restrictions;

(c) formalise the existing one-way system, as specified in the Schedule to this Notice, In Wensum Place, Hayes that was Introduced prior to the Council formally adopting the road on the 25th May 2018;

(d) introduce Pay by Phone parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(e) remove one Pay and Display bay from both sides of Sherman Road, Bromley (bays nearest to Tweedy Road) and replace with At Any Time waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(f) relocate the remaining single Pay and Display bay on the north west side of Sherman Road, Bromley outside Bromley North Railway Station north eastwards by 1m;

(g) to introduce a 'pedal cycle only area' in Sherman Road, Bromley to provide a safer crossing point for cyclists wishing to cross Tweedy Road;

(h) introduce new disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(i) remove the disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders. ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.


SCHEDULE-WAITING RESTRICTIONS


No Waiting At Any Time*-
BRINDLEY WAY, Bromley, the south side, from a point 8m west of the western kerbline of the entrance to Burnt Ash Lane car park eastwards to a point 20m east of the eastern kerbline of the entrance to Burnt Ash Lane car park. GARRARD CLOSE, Chislehurst, both sides, from the north eastern kerbline of Green Lane north eastwards for a distance of 8m.
GREEN LANE, Chislehurst, (a) the east side, from a point 33m north west of the north western kerbline of Garrard Close south eastwards to a point 10m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Garrard Close; (b) the west side, from the party wall of Nos. 135 & 137 north westwards for a distance of 21 m. SHERMAN ROAD, Bromley, (a) the north west side, from a point 1.8m south west of a point in line with the front (south west facing) wall of Bromley North Railway Station north eastwards for a distance of 6m; (b) the south east side, from a point 3.8m south west of a point in line with the front (south west facing) wall of Bromley North Railway Station north eastwards for a distance of 5m. SUMMER HILL, Chislehurst, the north west and west sides, from a point 7m north of the northern boundary of Water Mill Lodge, Susan Wood northwards for a distance of 25m.
No Waiting between 8am and 8.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive?-STATION APPROACH, Chelsfield, the north east side, from the entrance to the Chelsfield Station car park north westwards for a distance of 10m.

WENSUM PLACE, Hayes, between its junctions with Farleigh Avenue and Mounthurst Road in a north east to south west direction.
PAY BY PHONE PARKING PLACES
Pay by phone parking between 8.30am and 8.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except Public Holidays end Bank Holidays. 80p per hour. No maximum stay. Maximum charge £4:-
STATION APPROACH, Chelsfield, the north east side, from a point 22m north west of a point opposite the north western boundary of No. 1 south eastwards to a point 10m north west of its south eastern extremity (approx. 23 parking spaces).

PUBLIC NOTICE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED - Section 14 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC HOOKWOOD ROAD CHELSFIELD NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for BT to access their telecoms equipment THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-

Hookwood Road Chelsfield will be closed to through traffic for up to one day on Monday 21st October 2019 between the hours of 09.30-15.30. The point of the closure will be at the southern junction of Rushmore Hill between the junctions of Rushmore Hill and Budgin's Hill. Displaced traffic will be diverted via:-
Rushmore Hill to the northern junction of Hookwood Road in both directions.
2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. THE Order will come into effect on Monday 21st October 2019 with no specified finish date.

4. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the works will take up to one day on Monday 21 st October 2019 between the hours of 09.30-15.30 to complete and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

5. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer or Traffic Warden.

6. THE restriction referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the work.

7. ACCESS to properties will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of the closure as appropriate. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times.

NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for Thames Water to install a new water service into Burnt Ash Primary School THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-

Rangefield Road Bromley will be closed to through traffic for up to one week from Saturday 19th October 2019. The point of the closure will be directly outside the school in between the junctions of Bonville Road and Sudbury Crescent.
Displaced traffic will be diverted via:-Bonville Road Keedonwood Road Sudbury Crescent
2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. THE Order will come into effect on Saturday 19th October 2019 with no specified finish date.

4. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the works will take up to one week to complete and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for Thames Water to complete major works on their water main THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-Addington Road West Wickham will be closed to through traffic for up to one week from Saturday 19th October 2019. The point of the closure will be in between the junctions of Glebe Way A232 and Courtfield Rise.

Displaced traffic will be diverted via:-Corkscrew Hill Wickham Court Road Glebe Way A232
2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for Network Rail to complete a detailed bridge examination survey THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-

Homesdale Road Bromley will be closed to through traffic for up to one night on Thursday 17th October 2019 between the hours of 22.00 on Thursday 17th October 2019 and 06.00 on Friday 18th October 2019. The point of the closure will be at the railway bridge in between the junctions of Liddon Road and Godwin Road.
Displaced traffic will be diverted via:-

Kentish Way A21

Bickley Road A222

2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the works will take up to one night between the hours of 22.00 on Thursday 17th October 2019 and 06.00 on Friday 18th October 2019 to complete and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

5. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer or Traffic Warden.

6. THE restriction referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the work.
