LAND AT STAPLEHURST COURT AND RAINHAM CLOSE, SW11 6RD THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highways described in the First 6Schedule.
THE ORDER IS MADE to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning consent under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Wandsworth under local planning authority reference 2018/5833.
COPIES OF THE ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE between 09:00 and 17:00 during a period of 28 days commencing on Friday 6 September 2019 at Wandsworth Town Hall, SW18 2PU
ANY PERSON aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of Friday 6 September 2019, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein. THE FIRST SCHEDULE Areas of Highway to be Stopped Up
1. That part of Staplehurst Court, shown as hatched in black on the plan, consisting of an area of 367.4m2 running from a point immediately east of the entrance gates to Chatham Hall for a distance of 28.7m from west to east, and a distance of 12.8m from north to south.

2. That part of Rainham Close shown hatched in black on the attached plan, consisting of an area of 19.3m2 running from a point immediately south­west of the rear elevation of Chatham Hall and north of Rainham Close for a distance of 13.8m from north to south and 1.4m from east to west.

The demolition of the two storey library, the single storey plus two storey roof Chatham Hall and the 8 vehicular garages (single storey) and the erection of a four storey building plus the excavation of a basement at the existing library site comprising two commercial units (Use Class A1) split over basement and ground floor levels (approximately 388sq.m) and nine (9) residential units at upper floor levels; the erection of a part one/two/ three storey library (Use Class D1) (approximately 848sq.m) fronting onto Northcote Road; the erection of a part two/ three storey building behind the proposed library comprising a community hall (Use Class D1) at ground floor (approximately 301 sq.m) and seven (7) residential flats at upper floor levels; 2 car parking spaces and 20 cycle parking spaces; and associated landscaping and infrastructure works.
