PROPOSED MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS
HAZLEWELL ROAD, HERLWYN GARDENS, LARPENT AVENUE, WIMBLEDON PARK ROAD, WANDLE RECREATION CENTRE CAR PARK
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
- The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 2019
- The Wandsworth (Southfields) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 2019
- The Wandsworth (Tooting Broadway) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 2019
- The Wandsworth (Off-Street Parking Place) (King George's Park) (Amendment No. *) Order 2019
2. The general effect of the Orders would be:
(a) to remove 5.7 metres of shared use parking place and replace with a single yellow line waiting restriction, operating 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, outside No. 47 Hazlewell Road, on the south-east side, to accommodate a new dropped kerb and vehicle crossover;
(b) to extend the shared use parking place, operating 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, by 4.8 metres outside the rear of No. 47 Hazlewell Road located on Larpent Avenue, the west side, due to a redundant dropped kerb and vehicle crossover;
(c) to remove 6.7 metres of shared use parking place and replace with a single yellow line waiting restriction, operating 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, outside No. 212 Wimbledon Park Road, on the north-west side, to accommodate a new dropped kerb and vehicle crossover; and
(d) make certain amendments to the Orders for Herlwyn Gardens and Wandle Recreation car park so as to bring them in line with the on-street layout.
3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.
