Gladys Joyce Purkis (née Castle) Wife to Douglas Purkis, passed away peacefully on 20 February 2019 at Whipps Cross Hospital aged 96 years. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Her funeral will be held at the City of London Crematorium (North Chapel) on Friday 8th March 2019 at 1pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to Battersea Dogs Home c/o Harold White Funeral Directors, 95 Old Church Road, South Chingford E4 6ST Tel: 0208 529 1530.
