YOBS who have been pelting buses with stones in Chislehurst are being hunted by police.

Bromley’s safer transport team is appealing for help from people in Mottingham and Chislehurst who have details about criminal damage to buses on the 162 route.

In a recent case a 162 bus was travelling down Imperial Way, Chislehurst, and turned on to Slades Drive and then to Belmont Lane, when it was hit by objects thrown by a group of youths who were standing on the green area opposite the Edgebury Primary School.

The bus had its windows smashed and was put out of service.
