Beckenham Sainsbury's customers choose Cruse Bereavement Care as official charity
A CHARITY which helps grieving families to come to terms with their loss has been selected by a supermarket as its official charity for the year.
Cruse Bereavement Care (CBC) has been chosen after Beckenham Sainsbury’s asked its customers which cause they wanted to support.
It launched the partnership last weekend (July 13 and 14) with a dress down day at the store in High Street, Beckenham.
CBC spokesman Nigel Adams said: “I’d like to thank everyone at Sainsbury’s Beckenham who has nominated us to be the store’s new local charity partner.
“I hope this partnership will raise awareness to the Beckenham residents about what we do and the impact we have in the community.”
