On Thursday the 29th March at Queensmead School a Charity Tea Break was held in order to raise money for the Eden Eyre Fairy Project.

The Eden Eyre Fairy Project is a charity project set up to raise £200,000 for a 3 year old girl, Eden, to go to America to have life saving cancer treatment. She was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when she was 2 years old. No child should have to go through anything like this, but with an 82% chance of it coming back within the first 2 months of finishing her treatment her and her family need to raise this money to have a treatment called Bivalant which is only available in America.

I strongly advise anyone to give whatever they can to help her get this, even small amounts can add up to make big changes. Below is a link to the just giving page.

The Tea Break organised gave people the chance to buy drinks, food and enter a tombola with all the proceeds going to the charity. I would like to say a big thank you to Sainsbury’s and B&M for donating towards the tea break. I am pleased to say the charity work already has raised over £300 for her and we are continuing to raise more
