It's easy to spend money . Everyone has done it and most people get that slight satisfaction from it but when it comes to saving and reducing the amount you spend on particular things, how easy is that ? Well in fact there are many ways to save when it comes to clothing. As a thrifty vintage and second hand shopper myself , my tips and tricks for ethical shopping and saving the pennies may come in handy.

Tip 1 !

Don't be afraid of second hand. Clothing from a highstreet store may smell new, look new and be new but it can be pricey and not always the best quality. Shopping second hand allows you to give potential to items that have been preloved to be selected, washed and worn again for half the price.

Tip 2 !

Mix up and mend!Items worth loving aren't worth leaving. The feeling of despair when you find the perfect pair of striped trousers that have been forever lingering in your dreams to realise they fit your legs but not your waist can really hurt our hearts, does not mean they should be forgotten ! snatch them up , fix them up and save money !

Tip 3 !

Don't base your second hand shopping on labels and brands. When your'e shopping for clothing you should buy what suits you , fits you and makes you feel groovy. Scrap the designer labels for the designer kind of fit ! As they say "you will never know until you try"
