More decapitated cats have been found since Christmas in the Sutton and Beckenham area which are thought to be the works of the feline killer dubbed the M25 cat killer. There is now worry that once the killer gets bored of killing cats, they will move onto humans.

There have now been possibly over 100 deaths of cats and other animals in London starting in 2014 when the suspect had started killing cats in April 2014. The metropolitan police began investigating the incidents in November 2015 after an animal charity in South Norwood (SNARL) issued concerns about an alarming number of mutilated dead cats. This lead. It is thought that whoever is responsible for the killings has kept the heads and tails of the cats as trophies, leading to people signing a petition to perform DNA testing on the corpses of the animals in hopes to catch the perpetrator however no DNA has been recovered.

In February 2016, PETA offered a £5000 reward to anyone that could provide the police with some information that could lead to the arrest of the killer. However, no one has come forward yet and cats are still being slaughtered.

Now it is feared that whoever is behind these cat killings, will eventually get bored of killing cats and move on to humans instead as the behaviour of killing animals is associated with psychopathy. That is why the police need any help they can get whilst the M25 cat killer is still only killing cats.
