Ok if you are as much a Christmas finatic as me you will understand the excitment of waking up on Christmas morning and seeing your tree filled to the brim of presents, but as I am growing up I am now seeing how expensive it is to make Christmas special for everyone, gifts alone costs so much money and that’s on top of all of the food you buy!

I mean the average family in the uk spends £753 pounds each Christmas which really doesn’t sound like as much as you would expect but still costs so much money each year and could be used in other ways, Now I am not trying to destroy your magical perception of the brilliant holiday but why do we have to spend so much money on the day beloved by millions? The true meaning of Christmas is to spend a day with your family and share love for them and to celebrate the life of Jesus, as a member of the younger generation I believe that we should keep this tradition alive and not just make this holiday about spending money.
