The lights. The music. The performances. The excitement. The atmosphere. This can only mean one thing: the X Factor tour has come to Wembley arena. On the 24th January, `I went to the SSE arena in Wembley to watch the culmination of X Factor 2017. The acts included winners Rak-Su, along with Grace Davies, the CutKelvins, Sean and Connor Price, Kevin Davy White, Matt Linnen and Lloyd Macey. Each act sang a range of songs, both covers and originals. X Factor 2017 was by far one of the most successful years for the contestants with many of them achieving great things. With chart-topping songs, prize fights and millions of views, it definitely came back with a bang!

Being inside the packed arena was a worldly experience. Our seats were particularly good, giving us a good view of the main stage and we were right next to the centre platform where acts would sometimes come and perform so we had the perfect view. My family and I were not the only ones who loved it either and at one point during the performances, nearly every phone had the flashlight on, creating an incredible effect in the room as it became bathed in light. This whole spectacle lasted approximately two and a half and each and every second was incredible. My mum, who had been sitting with me, said, ‘This was an amazing experience that we all enjoyed immensely as a family and we can’t wait to hopefully repeat the experience one day!’

As a family, we sit down every year to watch this show and we are close followers of it. We often wished that we would have the opportunity to go to the X Factor arena to watch these performances and when, as a Christmas present from my parents, this became a reality, we were all immensely excited to go and support our favourite acts in Wembley arena. This was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life, and the rest of my family, I am sure, so I am so excited to see what X Factor 2018 brings.
